Idea

The core of my work is formed by the interplay between art and design, and my aim is to explore the interfaces and overlaps that exist within this transition zone. My background in sculpture has left me less interested in the primarily functional aspects of design - design as the solution to a problem - than in the emotional and conceptual background of an idea and their formal consequences.
